Eating meals with a limited amount of carbs can be very difficult at times.
Here’s a recipe that can be used in place of spaghetti.
This is a family favorite… even the kids love it.
Check it out and enjoy
Ingredients
- 1 large Spaghetti Squash
- 1 large can of Spaghetti Sauce
- 1 lb. Ground beef or ground Turkey
- 2 Table spoon Parmesan cheese
- 2 Table spoon Olive Oil
- dash of salt
Directions
- Cut large Spaghetti Squash in half (long ways), clean seeds out.
- Drizzle olive oil on inside of squash, and dash of salt.
- Place face down (cut side facing down) on glass casserole pan.
- Cook at 350, for 45 min. (until soft....but make sure it's not over cooked or it wont separate with a fork as well).
- While Squash is cooking, cook ground beef and warm up Spaghetti sauce.
- After cooked, roll squash onto it's back and strip the inside with a fork. It will come off in string like strands.
- Place on a plate, pour a can of spaghetti sauce (warmed up) and ground beef over top.....sprinkle with Parmesan and enjoy!
Give it a try.
